Reset to your natural rhythm with a Nature Immersion Retreat.
Step into a multi-day retreat shaped by the wild landscapes of Southeast Alaska and held in community. With space to slow down, listen deeply, and move gently, these nature immersions invite reconnection—to yourself, to others, and to the living world around you.

Nature Immersion Retreats
Designed for adults in the Juneau community, these 3-day, 2-night retreats invite you to slow down, reset, and reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with the living world. Guided by skilled facilitators in Southeast Alaska’s most restorative outdoor spaces, each retreat blends mindful presence, embodied movement, and collective reflection in a supportive group setting.
You Can Expect To:
-
Be held by nature. Spend intentional time in wild places—through hiking, seasonal movement like snowshoeing, and moments of quiet observation in Southeast Alaska’s landscapes.
-
Move and rest with intention. Engage in guided mindfulness, somatic practices, and breath-based reflection led by trained facilitators.
-
Gather in community. Retreats are capped at 8 participants, fostering trust, safety, and shared experience among local community members.

What to Expect
Retreats at Natural Connections move in rhythm with the land and your pace. Rooted in Southeast Alaska’s wild spaces, each one weaves movement, rest, and reflection into a supportive experience of reconnection and renewal. Retreats are: • 3 days, 2 nights in Southeast Alaska’s natural landscapes • Designed for up to 8 adult participants from the Juneau community • Led by trauma-informed, wilderness-trained facilitators • Structured and spacious—blending guided practices with time to rest • Fully equipped with gear, lodging, and nourishing meals

Why It Works
Spending uninterrupted time in nature—away from daily noise and surrounded by others on a similar path—offers a unique kind of healing. These retreats combine movement, rest, and connection in ways that support deep, lasting change. 1. Nature offers clarity and calm. The land becomes a steady companion, promoting nervous system regulation, spaciousness, and emotional insight. 2. Community creates belonging. Sharing stories and presence in a trusted circle fosters connection, courage, and mutual support. 3. Movement supports integration. Gentle hiking, breathwork, and somatic practices help anchor awareness in the body and support mind-body alignment. 4. Choice builds safety. With a trauma-informed approach, each experience is invitational—offering structure without pressure, and spaciousness without overwhelm.
